Course Outline:

The Operations course equips students to understand, plan, and control many large processing systems that form the core of manufacturing and service organisations. Operations management principles are equally applicable in managing manufacturing and service organisations. Fast, low-cost, accurate, and uniform operations are important in service areas such as health services, government, transportation, retail, fast-food franchises, airlines, insurance, and banking, among others.
